I recently had the pleasure of attending the second edition of Sollers Tech Talk in Bialystok, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! If you missed it, don’t worry, I’m here to give you a glimpse into the exciting world of tech knowledge that unfolded during this event.
The evening kicked off with two engaging talks:
- ORM Insights – How to not hurt yourself? by Karol Górski ⭐️ Karol Górski’s presentation on Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) was a real eye-opener. He delved deep into the intricacies of ORM and, most importantly, how to avoid the common pitfalls. Learning how to use ORM effectively can save you from those headaches we’ve all experienced when working with databases.
- The Power of Packages in Java by Mateusz Chrzonstowski ⭐️ Mateusz Chrzonstowski’s talk was a revelation for Java enthusiasts. He shed light on the magic of packages in Java and how they can be harnessed to create more organized and efficient code. I left the event with a newfound appreciation for the power of well-structured code.
What really made this event stand out was the opportunity to connect with like-minded tech enthusiasts. The sense of community and the chance to network with professionals in the field was priceless. I was able to exchange ideas, discuss real-world problems, and gain valuable insights into the ever-evolving world of technology.
A highlight of the evening was the discussion about Hibernate. I learned a great deal about how Hibernate works under the hood and how to optimize my code to avoid common issues and challenging debugging situations. The knowledge I gained was not just theoretical but practical, which I can implement in my projects right away.
I left the event feeling inspired, motivated, and armed with a toolbox of tech wisdom. I’m eagerly looking forward to the next edition and would encourage all tech enthusiasts to attend and be part of this thriving tech community.
