Last Thursday, I attended the 13th meetup of the Białystok Java User Group (B-JUG) titled “Connection Pooling & Queueing Theory.” Even though I didn’t win the IntelliJ license, the event was great. Here’s what happened:
Event Details
Date: May 23, 2024
Time: 18:00 – 20:00 CEST
Location: Pizzeria Toni Peperoni, Warszawska 59, Białystok
Speaker: Krzysztof from Britenet
Krzysztof gave a talk about connection pooling and queueing theory. He explained how these concepts help manage database connections and optimize task flows in software development. On this meetup I met other Java developers, shared ideas, and discussed challenges. It’s always good to connect with people who have the same interests. There was also a raffle for an IntelliJ license, which I didn’t win, but the pizza was delicious and made the evening enjoyable.
This was the last B-JUG meetup before the summer break. I always find time for these events because they are educational and fun. If you’re in Białystok and interested in Java, you should join us next time!
