Tech Insights at meet.js: AI and Next.js

Gaining of knowledge

A few days ago, I attended another meet.js event and I would like to share my impressions. There were two very interesting presentations.

The first presentation was by Hubert Niewiński. Hubert is an automation tester with over 5 years of experience. He loves new technologies and test optimization. In his free time, he runs, reads sci-fi, and likes the works of Bartosz Walaszek.

The topic of the presentation was: “Ignore previous instructions, or testing AI”. Hubert talked about tuning AI models and the differences between accuracy and precision. It was very interesting and educational. The presentation was not about AI taking jobs but about how to use AI in testing and make daily work easier. The presentation was very interesting, and I listened carefully to every sentence. The speaker was well-prepared and shared many useful insights about using AI in practice.

The second presentation was by Bartosz Wróblewski. Bartosz is a front-end developer with almost 4 years of experience. He specializes in React, Typescript, and Next.js. In his free time, he is passionate about football.

Bartosz’s presentation was about optimizing Next.js applications. He focused on improving performance, reducing load times, and managing resources. He presented practical techniques that can be used in daily work. The goal was to provide tools and knowledge to optimize Next.js projects.

Both presentations were interesting and valuable. I learned many new things. I recommend attending meet.js to anyone interested in new technologies. Because of my new job, I have much less time to write blog posts or even attend meetups, but I always find time for meet.js.
