Hey there!
I wanted to share my experience from the recent #54 meet.js event in Białystok. As someone relatively new to the world of programming, I’ve been learning the ropes of JavaScript alongside my Java journey to broaden my job opportunities and dive into the realm of frontend technologies. And I must say, this event was an eye-opener for me!
It was fantastic to see so many like-minded individuals gathered in one place, all sharing their passion for JavaScript (or, as the laymen call it, Java in Script mode!).
The event lineup featured two exceptional speakers who brought their A-game to the stage:
First up was Marzena Czajkowska, who delivered a talk on “Cultivating a Healthy Organizational Culture Supporting Scrum.” Her insights into creating a positive work culture and supporting Scrum practices were not only informative but also highly relevant in today’s fast-paced tech world.
Following Marzena was Hubert Niewiński, who presented “As Usual, in Red” – a deep dive into the most common mistakes in UI test automation. Hubert’s presentation was a game-changer for me, offering practical tips and lessons that I can apply directly to my projects.
As for the social aspect, the event was hosted at 6-Ścian Pub, and we were lucky to have a budget for drinks, both with and without percentages. It was a great opportunity to mingle with fellow attendees, chat about our tech adventures, and share a few laughs.
What I appreciated the most about this event was its welcoming atmosphere. Whether you were a seasoned developer or a newbie like me, there was a sense of community that made networking easy and enjoyable.
As someone eager to continue exploring JavaScript and Node.js, this meet.js event has fueled my passion even more. It was more than just a gathering; it was an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow in a field that constantly evolves.
I look forward to the next one, and I hope to see you there as well!
Cheers to the wonderful world of JavaScript and tech! 🚀
