My career has taken another interesting turn. I have become a coding tutor. This is a new situation for me, but I hope to be successful in this profession.

For a long time, I have been thinking about working as a coding tutor for children. I can easily establish contact with children, and I also have a 9-year-old son, so this new challenge will be an interesting adventure. Helping with coding and teaching others is nothing new to me. Some time ago, I took part in a Java bootcamp. I then had access to a group chat and a help group. Many people, when they had a problem with the code or didn’t understand something, could write there and get a solution or explanation. I remember spending whole evenings on this chat, trying to help as many people as possible. It gave me great satisfaction, and I enjoyed helping to solve problems, learning new things at the same time.

Now a new stage has begun in my life, I will be a coding tutor for children aged 5-16. These are 1:1 classes, so now I will take on the role of a mentor and conduct lessons with one student at a time. For younger children, it will be Scratch and Scratch Jr, while for older children I will conduct lessons with Construct 3. This last option seems the most interesting to me, I have many ideas for cool platform games. I took part in the onboarding and training for Construct 3, and the training tasks are really interesting.

It will probably be difficult to combine postgraduate studies, work, and teaching children coding, but I think I can do it. I want to do what I love, I feel fulfilled doing it and I want to continue. Keep your fingers crossed:)
