Mongo DB with JS & React routing – postgraduate studies

Gaining of knowledge

Hi everyone!

I’ve had a rather intense two weeks on my JavaScript Developer postgraduate studies. A lot has been happening, so I decided to share my experiences with you.

It definitely hasn’t been an easy time. The amount of homework was overwhelming at times. I had to master different styling methods in React, delve into the intricacies of Material UI, and get to grips with routing with parameters.

I also had the satisfaction of learning how to communicate with the Mongo DB database (Atlas cloud) using JavaScript. I must admit that I already have some experience in this area, as I used Mongo DB in my Java project – My Job Offers. Communicating using JavaScript seems a bit exotic to me, it’s a bit simpler in Java 🙂

I’ve also been brushing up on my Java knowledge. I want to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in this language, so I practice regularly. Recently, I’ve been focusing on microservice communication. In addition to Java, I also dedicate time to algorithmic tasks. Solving them is basically similar in every language. It’s a great way to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Although I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the amount of studying, I must admit that the satisfaction of overcoming new challenges is great. I feel that I am constantly developing and acquiring new, valuable skills. I am certain that the knowledge and experience I am gaining now will pay off in the future.
